Mamba Village Nyali Mombasa Kenya : Mamba Village is found at the coast of Kenya ,494 kilometres from Nairobi. It is a long journey by road ,taking approximately eight hours. The easiest and the fastest way to reach Mombasa is to take a flight from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Moi International Airport Mombasa and the other alternative which is more faster than taking the road is going by railway using the Standard Gauge Railway operating twice daily from Nairobi to Mombasa.
Mombasa Village is found in Nyali part of Mombasa. Nyali is a residential area and a sub county within Mombasa on the mainland north of Mombasa island. It is connected with the mainland through the New Nyali Bridge. It is one of the popular places in Mombasa with high class modern facilities such as hotels, residential houses and white sand beaches making it a favourite spot to visit in Mombasa for both local and foreign tourists. This is the greatest crocodile farm in Africa ,it is home to over 10,000 crocodiles. It is home to the oldest crocodile named Big Daddy. 1: Botanical Garden
At Mamba Village Nyali there is a botanical place with variety of plant species. It is here where you will find carnivorous plant known as pitcher plant that feeds on insects and other plants that grow on other plants. There are also tree nurseries, which has tree seedlings available for sale at affordable prices. The other trees in the garden have tags on them with their names on it and other relevant information about each plant species. There are Water lilies in a pond with great scenery of flowing water and fish .
2: A Fish Farm and Aquarium
Mamba Village Nyali has a fish farm and aquarium which hosts several fish species of both freshwater to marine fish. An example of a fresh water fish species is Tilapia and marine fish include frogfish ,silver moon fish ,star fish, among others. The fish species have been kept her for public display. It is here where the visitors to the park can have a close view of different types of fish including the rare species and unique fish species such as Barracuda and many other species that you have never seen.
3.Horse riding
This activity is done at Mamba Village everyday from 8 am to 6 pm. They also provide riding lessons for beginners, beach riding tours are also available at affordable cost.
4:Boat Rides
Mamba Village has a good size lake ,it is at this lake that they provide boat rides services. It is at the lake where you can hire paddle boats or go for boating which cost Kenya shillings 100 for adults and Kenya shillings 50 for children. At a few distance from the lake there are Ostriches and a giraffe pen.
5: Camel Riding
This activity of camel riding is most common in the arid parts of the Northern Kenya ,where the local tribespeople keep this drought resistant animals. There is an amazing restaurant known as the Croco Villa Restaurant which offer elegant ambience while having your tasty meals. The meals are prepared by highly trained and experienced chefs. It is at the restaurant that offer magnificent view of the crocodiles farm, it. Croco is a short word of crocodile ,the restaurant was named for ,because of its large crocodiles population. The Croco restaurant provide a delicacy of Crocodiles steak which favourite to many visitors coming to the restaurant.

7 . Snake park
Snakes are the other reptiles which are found in a designated section at Mamba village . The sales have been enclosed in a section and kept for public viewing .The different snake species can be found at the snake park from the smallest Eastern-stripe Bellied sand snake to the largest and most powerful snakes in display such as the central African rock python.
Visitors at the park will also have the opportunity to handle and take photos with non venomous snakes. Other animals found here include Tortoise species such as Leopard Tortoise and the Speke’s hinged Tortoise, petting of the animals is also permitted.
Feeding Time
The crocodiles at Mamba Village are fed daily at 5 pm and the visitor will view them jumping up to grab chunks of meat ,this makes the Mamba Village, the best time to visit being in the afternoon so that you will be able to watch them being fed.
