A 1 day Aberdare National Park safari from Nairobi is an exhilarating adventure that allows you to escape the city’s hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in the breathtaking beauty of Kenya’s stunning wilderness, located just a few hours’ drive from Nairobi.

Day 1: Arrival and experiencing Aberdare National Park.

On the first day of the safari, your safari guide will pick you up either from Kenyatta International Airport or from your hotel in Nairobi and brief you about the safari to Aberdare national park. The distance is about 3 and a half hours.

Once you arrive, you will go for a game drive to spot the park’s incredible animal species like elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes and among others, and spot the various bird species. After the experience you will be served with lunch.

After lunch you will visit the Karura Falls and take a scenic drive to the park’s highest point (9350 meters); you will be impressed with the landscape and the beautiful sightings, later you will be transferred back to the lodge and enjoy the sundowner at the lodge while watching the sunset over the forest. And from the experience, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.
