Get to Kenya, Make your way to Masai Mara, and Enjoy an Evening Game Drive

With hopes of sunshine later in the day, the air is sharp and cool thus early. The Great Rift Valley vista is where you should go first. Over 7000 kilometres, the Great Rift Valley cuts across both Africa and the Middle East. From the viewpoint, this vast topographic valley stretches as far as the eye can travel. This is a great view for your first safari shots. There are several curio shops on the property, so this is the ideal time for you to start filling up on mementos.

When you get to the Mara River, a few Kenya safari cars have already pulled up and are positioned for maximum effect. After joining them, the guide quickly becomes engrossed in the events below. In line with the customs of the African wildlife migration, thousands of wildebeests have gathered along the Mara River in an attempt to cross.

The unfortunate ones won’t survive to cross over to the other side, as large crocodiles wait in the deep waters below. This is just the beginning; as they avoid the ravenous crocodiles, they come across lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. It turns becomes a game of survival of the fittest once more. The beautiful green grass on the other side will only be enjoyed by the strongest, bravest, and most determined. You will undoubtedly shoot pictures and movies that you will always cherish. After observing the activity all morning, you drive to a picnic place with shade as the sun rises. The enormous exodus never grows boring and is always thrilling. Following a filling midday meal, you return to a new location beside the river.

Certain locations have steeper banks than others, and certain spots have deeper water. When trying to cross during the wildebeest migration from the Serengeti, this creates various dynamics for the animals. The difficulty of crossing the seas increases with their depth. It is more difficult to spot the predators that are concealed underneath. You take in the show for the remainder of the afternoon before slowly making your way back to the hotel as 4 p.m. approaches.
