Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park.

On the first day of the safari you will be picked up from Kenyatta International airport or from your hotel in Nairobi by your safari guide, he will welcome you and brief you about the 3-day Tsavo East national park safari and after, you will begin on your drive to Tsavo East national park which takes approximately 6-7 hours, along the way, you will have the perfect views of very many beautiful landscapes and the Taita hills before entering the park.

Tsavo East National Park is a well-known tourist safari destination situated in the semi-arid Taru Desert, near the town of Voi in Taita Taveta County, formerly known as Coast Province; the park is renowned for its large population of man-eaters and diverse wildlife.

And at the time you arrive at the park, you will check in to your lodge and be served with lunch, and after lunch you will go on the afternoon game drive where you will see various wildlife in the park, such as lions, buffaloes, antelopes, rhinos, elephants and others, and watch various bird species. After the experience you will be transferred back to your lodge and be served with dinner, then relax and have an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full day in Tsavo East National Park.

On the 2nd day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning and be served with a delicious breakfast, you will meet your safari driver and then head to the park for a morning game drive. Tsavo East National Park is a well-known protected area that hosts a large population of man-eating lions; during the drive, you will see many animals, including prides of lions, red elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, hippos, crocodiles, lesser kudu, gerenuk, waterbucks, and more. The park is also home to over 500 bird species, so you will have the opportunity to spot a diverse array of beautiful and colorful birds during the game drive. After the morning game drive, you will be transferred back to your lodge for lunch.

 After lunch, you will return to the park in the afternoon for another game drive, where you will have the opportunity to spot more animal species, particularly those you may have missed during the morning drive. You can also explore the Galana River, which serves as a haven for wildlife, especially during the dry season, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

The Yatta Plateau is the world’s longest lava flow, providing a unique and unforgettable game drive experience; additionally, the Aruba Dam serves as a popular watering hole that attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, and antelopes, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape during the afternoon game drive. After the afternoon game drive, you will be transferred back to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Depart back to Nairobi.

On the last day of the safari, you will wake up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast, check out from your lodge, meet your safari guide, and then depart from the lodge. Along the way, you will have an enroute game drive where you can watch various wildlife in the park, which is a rewarding experience, before proceeding with your journey to Nairobi.

Along the way you will have lunch en route, and after lunch you will embark on your journey to Nairobi. When you get to Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your departure flight back home; that will make your safari come to an end.
