Detailed itinerary.

Day 01:  Nairobi – Amboseli National Park.

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport ,you will be met by our representative from Focus East Africa Tours who is brief you about the safari and be transferred to Amboseli National Park, well-known for its big game and scenic beauty with the landscape dominated by Mt. Kilimanjaro. Because of the volcanic ash that was released by Mt. Kilimanjaro during its most recent eruption, it presents an intriguing contrast. You will proceed with your journey to Amboseli National Park with the beautiful views along the way.

Once you arrive, you will be served with lunch and check in your lodge and followed by an afternoon game viewing drive until sunset. After the afternoon game drive and spotting the park’s incredible animal species like Elephants, Giraffes, Hippos,  Buffaloes,  Zebras,  Wildebeests,  White Rhinos, Black Rhinos and among others. You will transferred to your lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 02: Full day in Amboseli National Park.

On the second day of the safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy your hearty breakfast. Meet your safari guide and prepare a whole day in Amboseli that is spend the day in the park on a full day game viewing starting with a morning game drive. There’s a stunning variety of wildlife in this abundant park such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, impala, caracal and serval cat, lion, leopard, cheetah, and buffalo among others. There are also over 400 species of birds, including the bee-eater, kingfisher, African fish eagle, martial eagle and pygmy falcon after the morning game drive you will enjoy lunch back at the lodge. After lunch visitors mainly come to watch the huge herds of elephants. These elephants have some of the largest tusks in all of Kenya. Visitors can also enjoy excellent views of Mt Kilimanjaro and Meru. After you will be taken back to the lodge for dinner, relaxation and overnight stay.

Day 03: Amboseli – Aberdare.

On the third day of the 6 Days Best Kenya Luxury Safari, wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast, and check out from your lodge and begin your journey to Aberdare National Park. You arrive for a late lunch at the Aberdares Country Club, an elegant baronial style country home set in sprawling superbly landscaped gardens check in your lodge and be served with lunch.  After lunch, make your way to Aberdares National Park and enter by the Ark gate. The first chance to see wildlife is in the Ark, a very special location. The Ark was built to resemble the biblical Ark where you will stay overnight and have the opportunity to view animals as they come to drink along a natural waterhole. Here you may see elephant, rhino, bongo (rare nocturnal antelopes with black on tan stripes) and other species.

Day 04:  Aberdares – Maasai Mara.

On the fourth day of the 6 Days Best Kenya Luxury Safari. Get up early in the morning and have breakfast.  After breakfast, depart and make your way to the well-renowned Maasai Mara Game Reserve, also known as the “spotted plains” in Maa. This is acknowledged as Africa’s premier wildlife reserve and is home to the highest concentration of huge species. Due to its proximity to Tanzania’s Serengeti, the park is well-known for the yearly wildebeest migration.

Once you arrive the lodge, check-in and be served with lunch after lunch depart later for afternoon game viewing drive in this outstanding place of breathtaking sceneries, never-ending plains and the most abundant variety of wildlife remaining anywhere in the world. Day 05: Full day in Maasai Mara.

On the fifth day of the 6 Days Best Kenya Luxury Safari. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast. This is where you will have the opportunity to discover this great reserve in depth. You may see elephant, giraffe, prides of lion, and thousands of impala, topis, grants and Thomson’s gazelle. Birds are prolific including immigrants, 450 bird species have been recorded among them 57 birds of prey during the morning game drive. The Mara is the scene of annual migration of millions of wildebeest up from the Serengeti plains in search of water and grasses. While in Mara, you will have the option to float above the Mara-Serengeti ecosystem on board a hot air balloon followed by a gourmet champagne breakfast (at an extra cost). Here you may decide either to have a picnic lunch or going back to your lodge for lunch. After the full experience in Maasai Mara National Park you will go back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06:  Nairobi- Departure.

On the sixth day of the safari. Wake up early in the morning and enjoy a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge and meet your safari guide and start your journey to Nairobi you will drive out across and over the rift escarpment to Nairobi with enroute lunch. Transfer directly to JKIA for your outbound flight or in your hotel in Nairobi.
